Frequently Asked Questions
Is Ensven able to connect to Amazon Alexa or Google Home?
No. We have chosen to develop a stand alone voice recognition system to keep your bedroom private, rather than connected to the internet.
Will my bed always move when it stands on Ensven?
No. When switched off, Ensven is in a locked position from which it cannot be rocked by external forces such as someone pushing on the bed.
Is Ensven safe?
Using highly geared motors Ensven is designed to only rock your bed at a very slow speed. Even if everything were to break down and the motors run out of control, all that would happen is that your bed continuously rocks from left to right once every 4 seconds. Ensven is not capable to rock your bed faster than that.
Can I store items under my bed?
Yes. Ensven is very low profile, only slightly over 1.5 inch (37mm) high. You can use the space under your bed to store items. Please ensure that any items you store are out of the way of the moving parts of Ensven and out of the way of the bed’s feet. Please take into account that the amplitude of Ensven’s motion is just under 3 inches (75 mm). Leave a bit of space around the power unit. Any electric device generates some warmth. Out of an abundance of caution, Ensven will shut itself off when it gets warm.
My bed has more than four feet, do I need to put an Ensven unit under each foot of my bed?
Generally yes but it can depend a little bit. If your bed has 4 feet then each foot will carry a load and needs to be supported with an Ensven unit. Some bed frame manufacturers place feet that don’t carry a load under their bed frames. They are not loaded because they are too short, for example. You can test if a foot carries load by having the bed carry it’s usual load and then sliding a flat object, such as a ruler under the foot. If it’s possible to slide something under the foot, then this foot carries no load and may not need to be supported by an Ensven unit.
